Hibiscus Export Services
A complete export service for international buyers — from farm-gate sourcing and sifting in Nigeria's hibiscus belt to a tested, fumigated, documented container leaving Lagos.
Everything Between the Farm Gate and Your Customs Broker
Importing hibiscus from Nigeria involves far more than buying bags. We take responsibility for the whole chain so you can focus on blending, bottling and selling.
Sourcing & Aggregation
We assemble container volumes from farmer groups and aggregators across Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Bauchi, Borno, Yobe and Gombe, selecting calyces by colour, dryness, de-seeding quality and cleanliness.
Sifting, Cutting & Milling
Vibrating screens, aspiration and hand-picking bring flowers to the admixture limit in your contract; cutting mills and sieves produce tea-bag cut to your particle range; milling to mesh for powder.
Bagging & Baling
New 20–25 kg PP woven bags, food-grade PE liners for TBC and powder, printed with your marks and lot numbers; or 50 kg compressed bales to maximise tonnage per container for extraction buyers.
Testing & Certification
NAQS phytosanitary inspection and certificate for every shipment; accredited-laboratory analysis for moisture, ash, microbiology, pesticide residues and heavy metals to your market's limits; third-party inspection coordinated where you require it.
Export Documentation
NXP, commercial, origin, phytosanitary, fumigation, health, weight and bank documents prepared, checked and shared with you in draft before sailing — including letter-of-credit document sets and Mexico protocol declarations.
Logistics & Freight
Container booking, kraft lining, supervised fumigation, haulage to port, customs clearance and stuffing supervision at Lagos, with ocean freight to your port arranged on CFR/CIF terms if preferred.

Single Containers to Seasonal Supply Programmes
We serve buyers at every scale. First-time importers typically begin with a single 40' high-cube and a courier sample beforehand. Established tea blenders, beverage companies and trading houses move to seasonal programmes — a contracted tonnage from the new crop, agreed specification, staggered shipments and predictable sailings, with pricing fixed per shipment or by formula.
- Trial container with pre-shipment sample
- Multi-container orders with staggered loading
- New-crop forward contracts with reserved allocation
- Mixed formats (e.g. whole + tea-bag cut) across a programme
- Dedicated account contact and shipment calendar

Prepared for Mexico, the EU and the United States
The highest-paying hibiscus markets have the strictest rules — Mexico on plant health, the EU and USA on food safety. We prepare shipments to meet them: laboratory testing before loading rather than after, fumigation under NAQS supervision, pest-free inspection at stuffing, correctly issued official certificates, and coordination with destination processors for steam sterilisation where it is required.
- Microbiology, pesticide-residue and heavy-metal testing by accredited laboratories
- SENASICA–NAQS protocol handling for Mexico-bound cargo
- EU MRL screening and FDA / FSVP documentation support
- Lot segregation and traceable marking
- Support for supplier questionnaires and audits
