Our Export Process

A clear, repeatable path from your first enquiry to a sealed container leaving Lagos — so you always know what happens next and when.

Step by Step

From Enquiry to Delivery

1
Day 0

Enquiry

You tell us the grade and format, specification, approximate tonnage, packing preference, destination port and target timing — by form, WhatsApp or email. We may ask a few clarifying questions about your end use and your market's phytosanitary and testing requirements.

2
Within 1–2 business days

Quotation & Specification

You receive a written quotation (FOB Lagos and/or CIF your port), a draft specification sheet for the grade, packing options and an indicative shipment window.

3
Optional

Samples

Courier samples let you check colour, cleanliness, moisture and cup quality and run your own laboratory tests before committing. Sample policy: [e.g. 500 g samples free, courier at buyer's cost, credited on first order].

4
Order confirmation

Contract & Pro-forma Invoice

Grade, specification, quantity and tolerance, packing, Incoterm, price, payment terms, fumigation protocol, laboratory and inspection arrangements and shipment window are confirmed in a sales contract and pro-forma invoice. Sourcing begins on receipt of the agreed deposit or workable L/C.

5
Sourcing window

Sourcing, Sifting & Bagging

Calyces are aggregated from farmer groups, checked on intake, re-dried and sifted to contract cleanliness (cut or milled for TBC and powder), sampled for the laboratory and bagged in new PP bags to your packing list and marks. Progress photos are shared.

6
Before loading

Laboratory, NAQS & Inspection

Laboratory results are received and checked against the contract; the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service inspects the bagged lot and supervises fumigation; your appointed inspection agency (if any) samples, verifies weights and supervises stuffing.

7
Booking

Documentation & Booking

NXP processing through our bank, certificate of origin, phytosanitary, fumigation and health certificates, laboratory certificate and VGM are prepared; the container is booked, lined and positioned.

Export Compliance

Nigerian Export Requirements We Handle

Dried hibiscus is a regulated plant-product export. These are the Nigerian-side requirements a compliant exporter manages on your behalf.

Exporter Registration

Registration with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) and corporate registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

NXP Form

Nigeria Export Proceeds form processed through an authorised dealer bank for each commercial shipment, as required by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

NAQS Inspection

Quarantine inspection of the consignment by the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service and issue of the phytosanitary certificate with destination-specific additional declarations.

Supervised Fumigation

Fumigation of bagged stock and/or the stuffed container by a licensed operator under NAQS supervision, with certificate — mandatory for Mexico and expected by most destinations.

Customs & Origin

Customs export declaration through a licensed agent, plus certificate of origin issued via NEPC or the chamber of commerce.

Destination Food-Safety Documents

Laboratory certificates, health certificates, FDA prior notice support and any import-permit documents required by the destination, prepared with your broker's guidance.

Regulatory requirements change. Keep your NEPC, NAQS and bank registrations current and update this section whenever NEPC, NAQS, the Central Bank, Nigeria Customs Service, SENASICA or your destination authorities revise their procedures.
